Authorized-use-only browser automation fleet
Shade may only be used to automate sites, accounts, data, wallets, and systems that you own or are explicitly authorized to access. You are responsible for ensuring your use complies with target sites' Terms of Service, contracts, rate limits, robots directives where applicable, and all applicable law.
Prohibited activity
You may not use Shade for unauthorized access, account takeover, credential theft, phishing, malware, spam, fraud, harassment, scraping in violation of Terms of Service or law, evading another party's authentication or security controls, attacking infrastructure, denial-of-service activity, illegal content, CSAM, or any activity that would harm Atlas AI, Shade, target services, or third parties.
Dual-use features
Shade includes dual-use browser automation capabilities. Anti-detect personality controls, including SHADE_PERSONALITY, are opt-in and are provided for legitimate compatibility testing, reliability research, and authorized security work. They are not permission to impersonate users, bypass site rules, defeat security controls, or hide abusive activity.
Authorized sessions only
Session save, load, clone, cookie import, and browser_adopt_session are for your own authorized sessions only. They must not be used to steal credentials, adopt another person's browser state, bypass consent, or access accounts you are not permitted to operate.
Privacy infrastructure is not a shield for abuse
Tunnel, Tor, and network isolation features are provided for privacy, segmentation, and legitimate testing. They must not be used to commit fraud, evade enforcement, disguise unlawful activity, or continue activity after a target service or Atlas AI has told you to stop.
Customer responsibility
You are responsible for your agents, prompts, tools, credentials, traffic, wallet actions, and downstream effects. Review agent plans before sensitive work, monitor live runs, and release slots when work is complete.
Enforcement
Atlas AI may suspend or terminate access, revoke API keys, limit slots, preserve evidence, and block traffic when we believe Shade is being abused or creating platform risk. We may cooperate with lawful requests from courts, regulators, law enforcement, payment providers, hosting providers, or affected services.
Report suspected abuse of the Shade browser automation fleet to abuse@atlas-ai.au with the relevant account, API key prefix, timestamps, target domains, and a concise description of the activity.
